a question to tulpas; do you consider the host's body to be your physical body? or do you feel like you don't have one at all and you're just possessing someone?

I think it would depend on how uncomfortable the system members feel with the body
For us, we all equally feel uncomfortable with it, including me and i'm the host
So we're all equally disconnected/connected to the body
Yeah, some of us are more satisfied with how the body is than others so they feel a little more connected to it while the rest of us just see it as like a game avatar with “stupidly low stats that we’re trying to level up” (Shuichi A was the one who came up with this analogy)
the way my system sees it is that the lines between ourselves and the body are arbitrary, we can see the body as a separate shared body and as being jointly us
I've been intentionally cultivating a view of the faculties in the brain and body as "us/ours" and our identities as separate, rather than the body/brain functions being "mine"

This has helped with switching a lot

how much does having multiple system members help with making decisions?
Same goals, but different perspectives/opinions, yeah

i see our body as the way i can do things in this world but think that is a shared belief across most members in the system/eries so it would make sense i like got it passed onto me uwu sometimes i can control our human sometimes not

We're only 5, but i find with my system it's similar to living as one person since everyone has a role and fronts when that role is needed
We take turns fronting for fun when no roles are needed

It's even better than that; you can even start to consider being friends with non-plural people who have complex personalities as being equivalent to making multiple friends at once
We're planning on starting back up with a fronting schedule too

does this depend on how the host shapes their tulpa?

I think it depends on how often you use the body and what your host allows. Those who never switch are more likely to have hosts who think the body is theirs
Most of our decision making happens between Gray and I since we are the co-hosts, but lately things have been messy and my headmates have stepped in to do more decision making lately.
We are a system of 11 now, expecting to drop to 10 soon given a planned integration. We used to be a system of 18 at our peak.
We dont have any form of real genuine heirarchy, but we have people who are more in charge of daily life than others, and it can change from any given time

Usually these people make most immediate desicions. Longer term ones we discuss all together
Our system meetings were always messy because there was always one person having a crisis. We found it's just easier to go the "oh geeze" route and just tell people when they wake up.
